Hi Skykid,

nice review. I just disagree on the following sentence:
"Their friendship seems a bit odd at times as Dan seems to order the man around - asking him to get some food and beverage for him and his brothers . This scene was indeed quite odd"
Dan's behavior is not odd at all. At the scene at the Vietnam vet's home we learn that he wants the boy for a sex partner. Dan clearly recognizes this intention and that explains his sudden change of behavior.

I don`t think that that was the case with the vet and Dan. How do I know - well one could say personal experience - meaning sometimes you just want to hang out with someone - and sometimes that person recognizes that and tries to take advantage - which is also usually a one time even - until he/she sees that real friends just don`t do that. Of course everyone could have its own interpretations of a certain scene in a certain movie.

I have seen the scene several times - and am keeping my opinion on that scene. But yes we don`t need to keep this discussion as the topic in here is quite different anyway.Now Harley Cross is definitely one of the tree best YS - even if this just makes the choice more difficult .

Choosing just 3 favorites isn't easy. The ones I would choose next year may be different than today. My 3 for now are shown below. Huck, I agree about Haley Joel and likewise with Freddie. Both are good actors but neither gets on my favorite list. But, it is a good thing that we have different views. It would be very boring if we all liked the same things.

Youngstars never go out of date as long as their photos, films and/or TV shows still exist. In my mind they are frozen in time and are just as valid as the new youngstars of today. I grew up on the original LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, DENNIS THE MENACE and other youngstars of the 50's, 60's and later. Those films and TV shows are just as enjoyable now as they were then. They are still youngstars. :thumbsup:
