A 12-year old orphan French boy, Francois, played by Jean-Francois Maurin- goes to live with his uncle and aunt but he is very unhappy there. During the summer, a young English woman comes to spend some time with the family and young Francois is fascinated with her and falls in love. Since he is unhappy at his uncle's house, he has the idea of returning to England with the woman and "marrying" her. Francois is very good in this role and I think you would enjoy the film if you have the opportunity. It was on TV a couple of years ago and I recorded it. I don't know if it is available for purchase.
